While our week was already, ahem, crazy enough (you know, between shoots with everyone from Lisa Eldridge
to Sabine Ghanem
), when Huntington-Whiteley calls, are you really going to say no? When we arrived on set, Rosie was still in the makeup chair prepping for the shoot with her team, which included stylist (and Cov-alum!) Cher Coulter
, and Huntington-Whiteley's longtime hairstylist, George Northwood. "If you want gorgeous, sexy, cool hair, he’s your man," the supermodel confided. Forget Yelp—could you really ask for a more solid recommendation? As Rosie primped and polished (because we know you're dying to hear, think: subtle black liner
blended just along her upper lashline, Bambi-like lashes and just a touch of Chapstick—yes, really) in a slinky floral robe we compared favorite pieces in the collection. Hers? "The silk chiffon printed bralet and French knicker. The prints were inspired by Shanghai in the 1920s and '30s, updating the signature rose print with an Eastern twist." And okay, so we know our opinion isn't nearly as exciting, but we're kind of suckers for the deep navy blue silk playsuit with lightweight lace cut-outs.
As Huntington-Whiteley posed for the camera (and for ours!), we took in her on-set essentials: fresh baby pink roses and white tulips, copies of Tatler
UK, alongside twinkly Anita Ko ear cuffs
, classic Christian Louboutin pumps
, a Balmain
chain and a sleek, croc Givenchy wallet
. Between shots, Rosie consulted with the rest of her creative team, explaining, "It's really important for me to see each shot as we work so I know what's working and what's not." Okay... but we kind of get the feeling that pretty much everything she throws at the lens 'works', though. It's almost as if modelling is her day job or something?
And while, for the most part, we've become pretty used to Huntington-Whiteley's completely otherworldly beauty (excuse the gushing, but, we mean, how else would you describe it?), it turns out that for Rosie, it really is all about balance. Sigh. Don't believe us (and trust us, we see how you wouldn't want to)? Look no further than the juxtaposition of her guilty pleasures ("coffee, french fries and bacon!") to the recipe for her very own green smoothie recipe
. The secret? Turns out it's all about the almond butter and coconut oil, you guys. Are you taking notes?
