We’re happy. No – we’re ecstatic. We’ve been loyal followers of Nicky Hilton’s style since what seems like forever. Ever since she was snapped rocking her Balenciaga Motorcycle bags in every color of the rainbow at 16 years old – we knew this girl was onto something. So when The Coveteur base camp descended into the hills of Hollywood and through the doors of the younger, brunette Hilton sister, we knew we were in for a serious treat. Besides being one of the most gracious and kindest girls we’ve met, this elegant and eloquent entrepreneur’s got one hell of a closet. And that’s an understatement. “My weakness is shoes,” says Hilton, while browsing through her pumps, wedges, flats, peep-toes and booties. And though her kicks are perfectly organized by designer, she’s nothing short of a loyalist: Christian Louboutin and Alaïa top her list. Perhaps part of her appeal is her consistency, always seen graciously wearing her go-to outfit: skinny jeans, ballet flats, and an impeccably fitting blazer. We died over her Hermès cuff, a birthday gift from her longtime boyfriend, which came with her birthday engraved as well as a sweet little message. This is proof – who said chivalry was dead? Born and raised in NYC, Hilton’s already designed a line of handbags for Samantha Thavasa and launched a clothing line called “Chick by Nicky Hilton” as well as a jewelry collection with Titan Groups in 2010. She’s not afraid to grab hand-me-downs from her mother, and looked killer rocking the same dress as Beyoncé that was featured in Mrs. B’s “Crazy in Love” video. But hands down, the best of all was her personal impromptu “fitting” at an Oscar party a few years back, where she was draped in a feminine flower-printed dress by Gucci. Tom Ford, who was also in attendance, pulled her aside and adjusted her gown to ensure it was sitting properly. SWOON! Oh, and she’s also been lucky enough to meet Mr. Obama. Fashion and political royalty at it’s best. It doesn’t get much better…
