It all started with an idea. Aaron Bakalar graduated from Parsons School of Design with a Business degree, and like any recent graduate, needed to get to work. Stat. Instead of going the typical route and finding a desk job, he had been toying with a concept (a derivative on talent management) and now seemed like the perfect opportunity to let his concept come to fruition. It started with one girl: the breathtakingly beautiful Tracy Antonopoulos, one of Bakalar's close friends. Having appeared in various magazines and a slew of music videos, Antonopoulos' fame was on the rise, and with each day that passed, the requests kept pouring in. Bakalar took notice, and realized that some kids from his crew of friends were attracting the spotlight from an international scale. He stepped in, pitched his concept to some of his pals (who now comprise his creative roster) and launched The Collaborative Agency.TCA is a creative firm, focused on the representation, promotion, and management of significant contributors to the modern youth culture; those who are directly embedded in the fields of fashion, music, film, and art. There's more - as TCA acts as a consulting agency and has worked alongside heavyweights such as Levi's, Club Monaco, Vans, and Hermès. Oh, and did we mention he's accomplished all of the above at the mere age of 24?
