If you, like us, spend Sunday nights glued to your TV watching Revenge, then you’ll recognize this flawless face. We've been taking in actor Ashley Madekwe's turn as social-climber Ashley Davenport on the hit ABC show since it premiered, but we also remember her turn on Secret Diary of a Call Girl (one of our favorite British imports, R.I.P!) Madekwe's also big in the blogosphere for her style blog, Ring My Bell, which documents her daily outfits, career and personal life. She's turned her blog into a bit of a family affair, enlisting her husband to take about "99% of all the images". When it comes to her closet, Madekwe confesses she’s a total “outfit nerd” and admits to keeping a notebook with outfit ideas and pulling an all-nighter to cop Isabel Marant shoes online (to which we say: been there, done that). Aside from a killer shoe collection, Madekwe's wardrobe is also rich in our other favorite accessory: bags. We spotted Mulberry, CHANEL and Balenciaga amongst her collection, with one mystery buy that she simply couldn't put her finger on, "No idea who makes that purse or even how it got into my apartment!" Although she loves a good designer showstopper, Madekwe is all about fast-fashion finds from Topshop and ZARA, "I am a Topshop homing pigeon! I can walk into the Oxford Circus branch and ferret out the best bits in minutes," a skill we can definitely appreciate. A native Londoner, Madekwe shared her favorite shopping spots in the city... Dover St. Market, anyone? And though she’s based in L.A. now, Madekwe keeps fashionable reminders of her hometown (hello, Union Jack McQueen clutch!) tucked under her arm.

I miss the foot traffic that London has. I get inspired by the girls I see walking around Soho and Carnaby St. Walking in London means you find hidden boutiques that have just popped up. In L.A. you have to have a destination in mind, get in your car and drive to it. My favorite London shops are Liberty, Dover St. Market and Topshop. The Union Jack clutch was a wedding gift from my husband because I was feeling homesick at the thought of returning to L.A. after our wedding in London.

I've wanted a pair of the Marant sneakers for ages. I see lots of girls in black and I liked the idea of getting a pop of colour. I basically stalked the NET-A-PORTER website until they came in. I know that new items are added to the site late Tuesday night/early hours of Wednesday morning and I hit refresh on my browser until they appeared! I am very persistent when it comes to getting an item for my closet!

My blog started as a way for me to document my travels and keep my family and friends updated on what I was doing. I'm lucky that my husband has an interest in photography and he takes 99% of all the images. Clear, high-quality images are the foundation of any good blog. It's not enough to take pictures of yourself in the mirror with your cell phone. Blog readers expect more now and some of the top blogs are as influential as fashion magazines.
