To be honest, I wore this necklace [for all of one] summer with a chambray shirt and either shorts, jeans, or casual skirts. There is something about this piece that works so much better with casual wear rather than wearing it with a cocktail dress. Rhinestones are versatile. They can punch up casual in an unexpected way. Sometimes wearing them for evening can feel antiquated…at least on an old lady like me.
