This is an old shotgun cleaning kit case that I bought years ago - but I threw out the cleaning tools and just use it as a pencil case.

I keep all my best pieces in the single-rail closet so that they have the most breathing room. I also have my shoes in this closet, since it is nearest to the door. The second closet is mostly separates. I organize everything by color, which isn't difficult, since it's mostly black or white. Everything is hung on wooden hangers. Super delicate items are kept in my dresser, wrapped in tissue.

I bought these at Spectacle in a slight panic because I was heading to Centre Island for the day and had recently lost my previous pair. In the shot, they're sitting on top of some of my father's travel photos. He is a very talented photographer but these photos are extra special because of the rounded edges and finely-textured paper that they are printed on.
