I was on a shoot with Camilla Nickerson and we went vintage shopping afterwards. I wanted everything Camilla had because I’m obsessed with how she dresses. I think she is the most chic woman ever. So we tried things on and she was like “Oh, well, I don’t know…” But everything looked good on her because she’s tall and skinny. But she was really close to getting this but she didn’t and she was like, “So chic! So chic!” So I ended up getting it! It was really expensive actually. I got it and wore it so much. I love it! I didn’t used to have much fur. But it was during shows and at the Oscar de la Renta show, PETA was sitting in front of the tents! And I was like “Oh my god! I cannot believe this is happening!” And then Anna [Wintour] came in her fur and I was like “Is PETA still there?” And they said, “No, because someone called and gave her the heads up. This is amazing! It was a Christmas present from my mother and father-in-law. I couldn’t believe it. I was like, “Oh my god! Are you kidding?!” It’s limited edition and they found it a long time ago and were put on this list. My mother-in-law is a good customer there, so… I was like “Oh my god! It’s amazing!” It’s not something I want to mess up, so I bust it out once in a while. I love the color, too! Bag, CHANEL

When I was working for Lancôme, I was designing a really exclusive, limited edition, travel make-up bag. I got to go to Goyard and go into their archives design a bag from beginning to end, with exactly the color combinations that I wanted. It’s such a chic store! It was such a cool idea and fun thing to do! It retailed at Bergdorf’s for $18,000 and I got one! It’s light and tan and it has a quilted inside. It’s so gorgeous! I will give it to my kids. I got this bag about a while ago. I like the size of it and it’s a great travel bag. I use it when I’m walking around. It’s a beautiful colour and it’s great for spring and summer. I actually might bust that out now, again, cause I really like the light color. Bag, Lanvin

I was pregnant with Dash and I wanted to dress up a bit so I got this dress, it has a belt with it so I wore the belt high up as an empire waist above my belly. So that was my outfit for being pregnant. And that CHANEL bag is just very Americana. I wore it to the CFDA Awards and it brought us good luck! And the drum set I got for Dash. The watch was a birthday present from David. He is really good at giving gifts and is so thoughtful. I just love that it’s classic, elegant and chic. Next to that is David’s favorite ring that he designed himself when he was 15. It has his initial’s “D.C.M.N” – David Christopher Morgan Neville. Next to that is a gold ring that I got when I had Gray. It’s called a “Push Present.” I got that as present when I had her. Then I have my wedding band and then next to that is a present from Dashy because… well, just because I was a good mommy! The diamond is my engagement ring from Cartier. David proposed to me in Sheep Meadow in Central Park. It was beautiful! He went to Cartier, got the ring and then we got a bottle of champagne and sat there for hours and cried. Then we went on a horse and carriage ride! The big diamond was a gift for my 40th birthday. I love it so much! I usually wear it with the wedding band and the one from Dash all piled up, together. I bought [the Marc Jacobs on the left] specifically for a friend’s wedding. I remember I showed David because I asked him which one I he thought I should wear. It’s pretty and it’s nice to reinvent and reinterpret. The Isabel Marant dress David got me in Paris. He thought it would be cute. I wore [the Marc Jacobs dress on the right] the day David turned 30. It was the week we got married and David turned 30, so I had all these outfits planned out. I just love that dress. It’s so flowy! It’s not too specific and I like that. L to R. The Marc Jacobs dress [third from right] I got as part of three dresses for a wedding. I was going to only keep one, but I kept all three! And I love that dress so much but for some reason I just haven’t found a good opportunity to wear it because it’s kind of cowgirl-ish. I’ve had it forever and I always think it’s going to be great for a wedding but then I change my mind last minute. I've had [the Marni dress] for a really long time. I like to pin it with brooches and alter the fit myself with a brooch. I wore it a lot when I was pregnant. The last dress is Alberta Ferretti and I think someone gave me that on a shoot. It’s funny cause there’s a lot of fabric on this dress, but I got to wear it to a Christmas party a few years ago. David was like, “What?!” when I put it on. It has exaggerated shoulders and an exaggerated waist, so it’s a lot of fabric! Dress, Balenciaga

I got this jacket from Cameron Diaz. She gave it to me when I was at her house after we had just done a cover for Vogue. We were going out that night and she’s like “I’m never going to wear this jacket and I think I was thinking of you when I bought it!” Jacket, Balenciaga
