Helena Bordon

Entrepreneur, Paris.

Never mind the no-but-seriously, I-woke-up-like-this beachy waves, that perfectly even, sun kissed skin and defacto bikini-ready body that all Brazilians apparently simply inherit at birth. As if we weren't cursing the day we weren't born Brazilian (ahem, Alessandra Ambrosio), it only makes matters more envy-inspiring when your mom plays style director at Vogue Brazil by day, right?

If you don't know, now you know—we're talking about none other than designer, entrepreneur and Brazilian blogger Helena Bordon. Intrigued yet? In case you're not one of her gazillion (okay, make that a couple hundred thousand) Instagram followers, yes, all of the above applies to Bordon. We first caught up with Bordon during Paris Fashion Week, during which she welcomed us into her Left Bank home as a refuge of sorts from the hustle and bustle of Fashion Week (we kid, we kid—there are things decidedly worse than a week in the City of Lights). And while, yes, Bordon had the whole Gisele Bundchen waves and artfully shaded cheekbones thing down, she also had a wardrobe that expanded beyond just beach-ready-basics: does a veritable farm of furry Fendi buggies and this season's need-it-now kitty-printed Miu Miu coat ring any bells?

That said, considering she's the co-founder of the high-street fashion chain 284 (think: Zara of Brazil) along with a handful of her childhood pals, it's kind of, ahem, only market research that Bordon is outfitted in all-this-season-everything. Case in point: the Cy Twombly-referencing printed Valentino trench, perspex-strap Fendi pumps and all-over-print Peter Pilotto sweatshirt we found among Bordon's pieces. Factor in that, plus a considerable collection of Miu Miu, and it almost immediately became evident exactly where and how the whole fashion-editor-in-the-family thing factors itself in. That, and Bordon's Anna-Dello-Russo-like approach to Paris Fashion Week dressing, "Everything is so beautiful and you can be glamorous and chic, even at 9 A.M.!" We told you she woke up like this.
