My NYC apartment was so minimal, so when I decided to move to LA I wanted to do the opposite with more color and texture. These pillowcases were gifted to me by one of my favorite LA-based interior designers, Betsey Burnham. I was so excited when I saw them. I love peacocks and lions and they make my bed look so happy. I took these matches from Byron Williams Salon. He is truly a master hair-cutter and one of my dearest friends. I can’t live without his haircuts. I am a die-hard fan of Rodin face and body oil—two products I can’t breathe without. I dip myself in it every morning. I love the way it smells and my skin looks and feels polished all day. When I received my first huge cheque—well, at least I thought it was huge at the time—I cashed it in and went on a shopping spree on Madison Avenue. This turtleneck was the first purchase I made. Every time I see it in my closet it reminds me of a happy moment in NYC, and makes me miss the days of living on the Upper East Side. I've only worn it once and it was to leave my hotel room in Milan and walk over to Rachel Zoe's connecting hotel room to do her hair and makeup, then I changed to go out. Sweater, Missoni

These red-and-black high-tops were the first pair I fell in love with. I actually stole them from my friend Anthony Francis’s closet. I just had to have them and wouldn’t take no for an answer; he’s such a good friend. I love to read and I tend to work three books at a time. It helps my brain process stories better when I multitask. I usually save magazines to entertain myself while flying. My favourite is Psychology Today; I am glued to every issue and read it cover to cover. The only magazines I keep in my house have stories or photos that I have worked on. Shoes, Nike

I’ve had these sunglasses forever! I wore them a lot when I lived in NYC but now I find it hard to wear white sunglasses since the LA weather keeps me tanned. Shopping for Home in LA is amazing! I love these leather and mesh shoes! I’ve been wearing them like sneakers lately. I do most of my shopping in stores like Marc Jacobs, All Saints or Barneys. I haven’t really gotten into online shopping yet. I like the process of trying things on. I also love getting a friend's opinion. You wouldn’t buy a new mini skirt without asking your friends first. James Dean was beautiful. His face is art. I found this shirt in my parents' basement when I was 16; my brother, Elie, bought it on his first trip to California in 1990. I’ve worn it so much that I have 10 years’ worth of pictures wearing it. There is nothing punk rock about me, but that won’t stop me from going to a Misfits concert; I like to party outside the box. Sometimes, when I shop with my outlandish and fabulous friend Joyce Bonelli, happy accidents happen, like this metallic Comme des Garçons wallet. It was a #TellMeEverything date that ended up at Maxfields. She was so adamant that I have it, that she bought it for me. I love it, the color is so fun! I love when my friends inspire me to try something new. Collecting coffee table books is an obsession that I think most people should have. Sometimes I buy them because I love the color or shape, and sometimes I just love the title. I am obsessed with a hot pink cover! I get a lot of my books at BOOKMARC on Melrose Place.
