Keith Pollock

Editor-in-Chief of DuJour magazine. New York

Keith Pollock, a guy with impeccable style, knows a thing or two about fashion and the role it plays in the digital space. Before becoming the editorial director of Elle.com, Pollock honed his skills working as the fashion director at men.style.com as well as spearheading the much-discussed resurrection of Interview magazine’s website. Keith has plenty of reasons to be content: Elle.com is one of the most-visited online adaptations of a print publication, generating original content on a hard-to-keep-up-with basis. Don’t let the abundance of information fool you—Pollock makes sure the quality is held to the highest standard. The web world is responding; he’s established Elle.com as the go-to source for witty fashion-centric information.

I brought my favorite Prada suit on a recent business trip to Hong Kong, and found a tailor to copy it in three different fabrics (he even added embroidered name tags). Don’t hate me Miuccia.

I have a very unreasonable number of sunglasses, considering I hardly ever wear them. I'll usually bring a pair when I'm traveling which explains the ottoman they sit on, bought in a Moroccan souk.

This miniature painting echoes the early '80s/modern/southwestern vibe of my apartment. Also feeling kinda '80s? These mirrored Vuarnet sunglasses.

I have a giant box of jewelry and random junk I've been collecting for the past decade. Foreign coins, pewter thimbles, plastic key chains--it's like peeking into an eccentric elderly woman's vanity drawer. The gold claw pendant was bought at a gas station in Wasilla, Alaska. Some CHANEL and Dior buttons, a safety pin from New Mexico. I mean, basically this pile represents why moving for me is such a nightmare... I CAN'T LET GO!

I went down to Savannah recently to talk to SCAD students about careers in media, and found this huge charcoal drawing during a tour of the campus. The grey suede high tops belong in the cubby of other retired kicks.

I had these antique busts made into lamps. Dries Van Noten is my favorite designer. If I can’t pull off a sequin or embroidered scarf, at least I know my lamp can.

I clearly have a thing for neutral tchotchkes, World of Interiors, and beat-up brown boots. This is just a sampling of all three.

Bought tons of these key chains in Tokyo, like this one covered in Gucci logos. I'll wear a few on my backpack when I'm feeling especially old.

The drawing is by artist (and my friend) Mark Grotjahn. I bought the red feather pin in Scotland because it has the Pollock crest on it. I'm a descendant from a Scottish clan, by way of Parsippany, New Jersey.
