In the decade (yes, really) since The Osbournes debuted on MTV, we've watched Kelly Osbourne conquer everything from film, music and even Dancing with the Stars. We’ve seen her transform from an angsty teenager—how could we forget her punk rock phase?—to an elegant adult with poise, class and a dash of edge. Osbourne’s growth has come with a variable amount of hair changes: pink and edgy, black and spiky, platinum and glam and now—our personal favorite—lavender and luxe. Lengthy resumé and beauty politics aside, nothing seemed quite as natural as her progression to panelist on E!’s Fashion Police, alongside Joan Rivers and fellow Coveteur, George Kotsiopoulos. We caught up with Osbourne at the super chic Mr. C Hotel in Beverly Hills, and Osbourne greeted us in a enviable Céline tee and Anna Dello Russo for H&M necklace. We got acquainted with her talented stylist, Nicolas Bru, and he jumped right into styling up our suite with pieces from Osbourne's closet. Osbourne showed up with some of her best pieces in tow: an Alexander McQueen red gown straight off the runway, a plethora of personal pictures of her tight-knit fam, awards, shoes gifted from Sir Elton John, sparkly Casadei heels and a sea of rare CHANEL. We chatted about her Mr. A-customized graffiti CHANEL bag and the slew of one-a-kind treasures acquired from her mom. “As early as I can remember I've lusted after my mother's CHANEL bags,” she said. “As soon as I could get my hands on one, I had one...and the collecting began!” Among the colorful prints that dominated Osbourne's closet were studded leather jackets and loafers that wouldn't go amiss amongst a crowd at a Black Sabbath show. A particular leather jacket, which once belonged to James Dean (yeah, the James Dean), left us particularly speechless. But it was Osbourne’s words of fashion wisdom that stayed with us: “Dress how you feel and love what you wear, because at the end of the day you have got to wear and feel great in it. Great style isn't about looking picture perfect all the time. You wear your clothes. Your clothes should never wear you.”
