The little straw ladies are magnets from the Las Ventanas in Mexico. They leave them on your bed with a little message every night at bedtime; it's so sweet. Unfortunately, I have one of those annoying stainless steel fridges that doesn’t like magnets, so they wound up on the bookshelf. The pendant is my mother-in-law’s and is one of my most treasured pieces of jewelry. She got it in Morocco in the '70s. I wear it on a gold chain and never take it off. I was born in London, so I love a British flag. I pull out this purse again and again and it spices up any neutral outfit. The pillow was a gift for my Jack Russell, Wilbur, but he prefers the couch. Of course you’re going to love anything your best friend makes, but Katie’s stuff is really cool, fun and wearable. She makes the best leather jackets. This Kimberly Ovitz dress I wore to my Cuban-themed birthday. I needed something tight to salsa in and this did the trick. The rose gold necklace and earrings are Dominic Jones from Net-A-Porter. He is one of my favorite jewelry designers right now. The pendant necklace looks like a heart but is actually a bat skull and the heart shaped earrings are bear traps. Love the twisted symbolism there. The turquoise and rose gold earrings are another Kansas antique barn special.
