Lunch with LaCava… With A Side Of Spiders!
We took five from our hectic shooting schedule in NYC and stole Cov-alum Stephanie LaCava away from an art installation she was participating in to do lunch. It quickly turned into an iPhone photoshoot featuring some creepy-crawly unexpected visitors. Here’s what ensued…
To take a break from our crazed NYC shooting spree (i.e. Rachel Roy, Leandra Medine part deux and OscarPRGirl, all #comingsoontoacoveteurnearyou), we made a very out-of-character lunch date with our sophisticated, ginger-haired lady-friend, Stephanie LaCava. We usually don’t make time for a sit-down, but we stole LaCava away from a crazy-cool art installation she was doing –it involved her sitting on a bench for hours, don't ask! – to grab some grub at Tiny's Giant. We even had an unexpected, creepy-crawler join us in the form of an eight-legged spider, carved from wood and wire and straight off the plane from Panama. It was made especially for LaCava –you know how much she adores her strange objects, non?
Our mini lunch date quickly turned into an impromptu iPhone photo shoot (but with that piercing gaze and ingénue spirit, can you really blame us?). Aside from what ensued, we know the real "Q" on your minds was probably what we ate –don't lie, we all know you were thinking it. Read below; and you're welcome.
