Mona Sharf

Director, Communications & Celebrity, Theory & Helmut Lang.  New York

The golden girl behind Louis Vuitton's PR strategy for over three and a half years, Mona Sharf joined Helmut Lang and Theory in the newly created title as Director of Communications and Celebrity for the group in May 2010. Her role: to oversee all editorial and celebrity dressing, handling both Theory and Helmut Lang accounts for both women's and men's ranges. And while her stint at Louis Vuitton is behind her, she has a closet busting with LV goods - the girl's ultimate fantasy. In fact, her closet is comprised of high-end goods she's accumulated throughout her notable PR career - including her time spent at Coach and Tod's. Don't believe us? Check out Sharf's collection of striped sweaters, bold dresses, and jealous-worth heels in our online gallery of her favorite items.

I love this Helmut Lang dress! The print is very signature to our creative directors, Nicole and Michael Colovos, and the cut is super sexy and cool. The backflip painting was done by one of my sister's close friends, Steve Walls. I have a few pieces of his art in my apartment and am a huge fan.

This skirt is one of my favorite articles of clothing. It fits great, and I love that it can be worn for any season. The art was a gift from my mother who bought it for me this summer when we took a trip to Israel together. It's by an Israeli artist named Zvika Horesh from Tel Aviv and she and I both fell in love with it when we saw it there.

This was the first show I ever worked, and was by far my favorite. There was something about that first trip to Paris Fashion Week, the clothes, the music and the energy that felt magical. I really loved working with that collection.

I don't wear this as often as I should! I love it. It's so beautiful, but there's something about the impracticality of a cape that usually steers me away from putting it on when I'm going out...

There's something that always draws me to stripes: the contrast of colors always catches my eye, and I love that you can wear these tops super casually or dressed up.

This plate was from an amazing gala Louis Vuitton hosted for the Murakami exhibition at the MOCA in Los Angeles in 2007. They were used as the placements for the dinner, but I use it as a decorative piece on my nightstand.

The dress was given to me by my sister. Tanya Ling did the painting, which was an illustration for LV's Cruise 2009 press preview. The whole team loved the prints so much that we each had our favorite look reprinted for our apartments!

I have a huge collection of over 50 scarves in my wardrobe, but my Sprouse scarves have definitely gotten the most wear. I own it in three different colors and find that they can be worn with absolutely anything, no matter how dressed up or down I am. It's an effortless way to make the simplest outfit chic.
