We started The Coveteur as a way for people to show off their most prized and personal items - one closet at a time. While we certainly love the dudes, it's the cutting-edge, sophisticated, rugged, feminine and raw style of today's modern ladies who really inspire us over at The Coveteur headquarters. Closet by closet, we're both impressed and amazed - and with each photo that is snapped, we look collectively in awe at the final product. And, today's post is no exception. It was Marissa Cooper's style on The OC (we miss you Coop) that really fueled our energy when tuning in weekly. Her petite Marc Jacobs dresses perfectly paired with her oversized Chloe bags - we couldn't get enough. And when we found out that Nicole Chavez (who is now a leading voice in the fashion domain) got her start in The O.C's wardrobe department - we stopped at nothing until we were able to get inside her closet. Mission accomplished. Hallelujah! Her beginnings took place seaside, but once she captured the attention of fashion-conscious girls everywhere, Chavez's star power began to rise...and rise...and rise. Since the show wrapped (R.I.P) - Chavez has been the recipient of the "Star Stylist Extraordinaire" award at the Hollywood Style Awards, and has been named one of the "Top 10 Superstar Stylists" by Forbes Magazine. Not too shabby if we do say so ourselves. This is clearly one rad chick who can hold her own. And judging by her client list, we wonder if she sleeps? Seriously. How does she do it all? Want to know whom she styles? Her client roster list consists of Scarlett Johansson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Courtney Cox and Rachel Bilson and her work has graced the covers and inside pages of our bedtime reading materials: InStyle, W, and Harper’s Bazaar. And that's only the beginning. And like any power chick we love, Chavez has embraced the digital world by signing on as Style Editor at reFINEstyle, what we consider the nations best collection of ready-to-wear fashion culled from the most reputable consignment venues across the country. 'My philosophy is fashion can be found anywhere. Some of my favorite finds come from consignment stores. reFINEstyle has the best shops in the country all in one place' says Chavez. And while it's a one-stop-shop for all your shopping needs, the journey begins at the source of it all, Ms. Chavez's personal collection. We couldn't be happier to present the wardrobe and unique furnishings of one of our favorite tastemakers.

The jacket was a gift from my best friend. She saw me oogling over it at the store and surprised me with it later. I just adore it and it always reminds me of her.

Cutest bags ever! They hold a phone and mints and that’s about it...but what else do you really need when you are out on the town? They are lying on top of a treasured book called The Journey is the Destination - The Journals of Dan Eldon, which was a gift from a beloved friend and travel buddy.

The outfit is actually a kid's top and skirt I bought from a Ugandan street market, got back to my hotel tried it on, and it fit like it was custom made for me. I will never part with it.

I think Miuccia is a genius. Her coveted Spring 2011 prada collection was quirky, bright, and tropical: three things I love in fashion. Where would I be with out my rolling wardrobe trunks? They have been around the world and back and have carried ever designer piece you could imagine.

I think it's fun to collect bags like art that ignite a conversation. I am always drawn to the one that is too loud or too much and never regret passing on the safe one.

The bracelet is my most treasured heirloom. It belonged to my grandmother and when she passed away she gave it to my mom. As a little girl I played dress up with it and wished it was mine. When I turned thirty my mother gave it to me.
