Sara Brajovic

Model; Writer & Creator, www.sarabrajovic.com. London

Sara Brajovic isn’t just another blogger. Sure, she regularly posts outfits and inspiration, but the London-based babe is also a model, actress and pianist with a degree in world history.
Born-and-bred in Paris, Brajovic began modeling at the tender age of 11, when a little known photographer by the name of Peter Lindbergh snapped a shot of her while vacationing with her fam in the south of France. When you catch the attention of a world-renowned photog before you’ve lost all your baby teeth, you’re pretty much destined for greatness. With a modeling career on the horizon, Brajovic made the move to NYC’s West Village, got signed to IMG and began her studies in acting at Lee Strasberg. She’s graced the pages of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, POP and i-D as a model and has been published—let’s not forget she’s a writer, too—in some of those mags, as well.
Brajovic’s love for the art world not only landed her a summer internship at Sotheby’s during college, but also in a bidding war with Jared Leto. And, yes, she won. Her love of the arts has translated into a massive Marni collection of wearable works, from chunky ‘orthopedic chic’ heels to quirky neon frames. Art imitating life or the other way around?

These glasses come in every color. I bought them at Liberty in London. To be accessorized with straight hair, parted in the middle.

This little gem was the second present I got from Hermès from my mother when I was 17. I remember seeing it for the first time and thinking that this has to be the best thing ever to happen to my wrist since friendship bracelets.

I think that if I had to declare my love to a designer, it would be Consuelo Castiglioni. It’s as if her designs are made for me. Perfect combination of contemporary art, color and shapes. They are like a piece of art.

Bally has been producing amazing collections since Graeme Fidler and Michael Herz were appointed creative directors. So wearable, amazing quality and great cuts. I almost want to say Swiss Hermès! I wore this vest at the Gorbachev gala benefit dinner with a black lace evening gown. I wear [the shoes] with opaque black tights and tunics, Twiggy 60’s feel.

The first earring is from an antique store in London. I wear it on the top part of my ear with another earring just underneath. The butterfly ring is from a street market in NYC. The other ring... her jewelry is just amazing. I only have praise for this designer. Her rings envelop the finger, protect it… I call this delicate warrior jewelry.
